Job Title: Shift Engineer / Shift In-Charge

Location: Plant Site – Soham Renewable Energy

Qualification: B.E. in Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Electrical Engineering (with valid Electrical License)

Experience: 3–5 years

Languages: Kannada, English, and Hindi

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Engineer / Shift In-Charge to oversee plant operations at Soham Renewable Energy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the power generation industry, with hands-on experience managing shift activities and a small operations team in a 24/7 environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise and manage day-to-day plant operations during assigned shifts.

· Lead and coordinate a team of 3–5 members, ensuring smooth functioning of power generation processes.

· Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot electrical issues, and ensure optimal plant output.

· Maintain compliance with safety, operational,



and environmental standards.

· Prepare and maintain shift logs, reports, and maintenance records.

· Coordinate with other departments for preventive maintenance and system upgrades.

· Ensure adherence to company SOPs and technical standards during operations.

· Respond promptly to plant alarms, breakdowns, and emergency situations.

Requirements:

· B.E. or Diploma in Electrical Engineering with a valid Electrical License (mandatory).

· 3–5 years of experience in the power generation or renewable energy industry.

· Strong understanding of plant operations, electrical systems, and safety protocols.

· Excellent communication skills in Kannada, English, and Hindi.

· Ability to lead teams effectively and work in rotational shifts.

· Proactive problem solver with attention to operational detail.

Shift: Rotational (24/7 plant operation)

Team Size: 3–5 members
