Import Export Manager – Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Import Export Manager to manage and expand our international business operations. The candidate will be responsible for developing overseas markets, generating international leads, communicating with foreign buyers, preparing quotations, negotiating prices, and converting enquiries into confirmed orders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and develop new international buyers, distributors, dealers, and business partners.
- Handle export enquiries, quotations, proforma invoices, purchase orders, and contracts.
- Coordinate with production, packaging, logistics, freight forwarders, CHA, and customs agents.
- Manage complete export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates, shipping documents, and other required documents.
- Coordinate international shipments and ensure timely delivery.
- Understand and negotiate Incoterms,



payment terms, freight, insurance, and shipping costs.
- Research international markets, competitors, pricing, and customer requirements.
- Maintain regular communication with existing and potential overseas customers.
- Attend international trade fairs, exhibitions, and business meetings when required.
- Maintain export sales reports, customer databases, and order tracking.
- Ensure compliance with applicable import-export regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

Graduate/MBA preferred with 2–5 years of experience in international sales/export. Robust English communication, negotiation, documentation, logistics, and computer skills are required. Experience in manufacturing or construction products will be an advantage.
