Description - Senior Physiotherapist
Department:
SCIR (Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation)
Reporting to : Clinical Lead/ Manager
Job Purpose
To lead high -quality, evidence -based
rehabilitation services for people with spinal cord injury (PwSCI) at center
and community levels. The role includes clinical oversight, capacity building,
stakeholder coordination, and regular field visits to ensure service quality
and implementation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Clinical Supervision & Quality
Monitoring
Oversee rehabilitation services in intensive and community
settings
Conduct regular community and partner visits for quality
assurance
Guide Physiotherapists and Project Coordinators for monthly
reviews
Liaise with hospitals for referrals and medical collaborations
2. Training & Capacity Building
Develop and update SCI -specific training content
Facilitate quarterly staff training and monitor training
outcomes
3. Documentation & Reporting
Ensure timely submission of biweekly, monthly, quarterly, and
annual reports
Support donor documentation and internal reporting systems
Key Deliverables
Consistent delivery of quality rehabilitation services
Strengthened partner engagement through field monitoring
Effective staff training implementation
Timely reporting and scalable innovations
Qualifications
MPT in Neurology, Orthopedics, or community Rehabilitation preferred,
with minimum 1 year of experience (freshers with strong clinical skills
may apply)/ BPT / BOT with minimum 2 years' experience.
Skills & Competencies
Clinical knowledge of SCI rehabilitation
Willingness to travel for community monitoring
Strong documentation and data review abilities
Team coordination and training facilitation skills
Proactive, solution -driven approach
Requirements
Willing to travel to community based on the needs
Passion towards work with rehab set up
