n Our client is a highly respected and internationally recognized contemporary art gallery business in India for almost 30 years now with a long-standing track record of representing Indian artists and building relationships across global collectors, institutions and cultural ecosystems.

n The organisation is entering an ambitious next phase of growth , with plans to scale its commercial platform, strengthen institutional and advisory businesses, build new revenue verticals and expand internationally.

n The business is targeting approximately ₹250 Crores in Year 1 revenue and building towards ₹750 Crores in annual revenue by 2030 , alongside expansion into Dubai and New York. (Currently spread across multiple galleries in Delhi & Mumbai)

n n Company: Leading Global Contemporary Art Gallery (Name shared during application process)
n Official Designation: Head of Execution & Vision Implementation (Office of the Founder)
n Years of Experience: 15 to 18 years
n Job Type: Full-time, On-site, Mon to Fri (+ alternate Saturdays working - 2nd & 4th Saturday off)
n Work Location: Vasant Vihar | Nehru Place, Delhi (with travel as & when needed to upcoming sites)

n CTC on offer: 60 LPA (40+20 split) based on relevant experience & interview performance.

n Position Overview
n n We are conducting a search for a driven, proven Commercial & Growth Operations leader who will work directly with the Founder / Managing Director of our client company.
n This is an organisation-wide leadership role for an individual who can take the vision of the Managing Director and turn it into execution at scale.
n The role spans commercial growth, revenue, operations, systems, organisational design, people, expansion, institutional relationships and business execution.
n This is NOT a conventional strategy,
consulting or Chief of Staff role.
n The successful candidate must have personally built, scaled or run something of meaningful complexity , with genuine ownership of outcomes and preferably P&L; responsibility.
n The central requirement: Take what has been envisioned at the top and make it real.

n Key Responsibilities:
n Commercial & Revenue Growth
n n Own the revenue pipeline across primary gallery sales, secondary market, advisory, art fairs and commercial programming.
n Drive the ₹250 Crore Year 1 revenue objective through team structure, sales capability, accountability and execution.
n Build a robust commercial operating system covering CRM, collector segmentation, pipeline tracking, forecasting and opportunity management.
n Ensure commercial teams have the right structure, talent, tools, processes and accountability to deliver targets.
n Identify and launch new revenue verticals, including corporate advisory mandates, institutional partnerships and commercial event opportunities.
n Monitor performance and proactively address gaps in pipeline, conversion and revenue.
n n ⚙️ Operations, Systems & Scale
n n Build the systems, processes and reporting required to scale the organisation.
n Strengthen financial reporting by business stream, inventory management, exhibition delivery and artist liaison workflows.
n Lead ERP selection, configuration, implementation and adoption.
n Establish clear ownership, KPIs, decision rights and review cadences across departments.
n Build operating systems capable of supporting multiple locations and international expansion.
n n Organisation & People
n n Design the organisation required for the ₹250 Cr, ₹500 Cr and ₹750 Cr growth stages.
n Identify capability gaps and drive critical senior and specialist hiring.
n Develop hiring briefs, lead searches, assess talent and ensure successful onboarding.
n Build a culture of accountability while retaining the organisation's creativity and entrepreneurial energy.
n Establish clear KPIs and quarterly performance reviews.
n Hold leaders and teams accountable for commitments.
n n International Expansion
n n Support and drive expansion into Dubai & New York.
n Lead data-backed evaluation of locations, leases, financial models, break-even timelines, staffing and operating requirements.
n Drive Dubai from decision through launch, including location, fit-out, hiring, systems and first show/programming.
n Build transparent reporting so every location operates against defined commercial and operational targets.
n n ️ Institutional & Vision Execution
n n Work with the MD to translate the broader vision into quarterly priorities and team-level action.
n Ensure museum relationships, biennial outreach, advisory and institutional programmes are systematically managed.
n Identify problems before they become escalations and proactively fix what is not working.

n The Ideal Candidate
n We are looking for someone who has BUILT and RUN something — not someone whose career has primarily involved advising others.
n
n The ideal candidate will have:
n n Significant senior experience in business, commercial, operations, general management or P&L; leadership.
n Demonstrated P&L; or meaningful business ownership.
n Experience building/scaling a business, business unit, function or organisation.
n Strong commercial orientation and understanding of revenue generation.
n Ability to read P&Ls;, understand financial models and assess commercial pipelines.
n Experience building teams and organisational structures.
n Experience with systems, process transformation or ERP implementation.
n Comfort operating in founder-led, entrepreneurial and ambiguous environments.
n Strong execution orientation and a track record of delivering outcomes.
n Excellent stakeholder management and executive presence.
n Ability to work across commercial, operational, people, institutional and creative environments.
n Genuine curiosity about art, culture, creativity and the broader cultural ecosystem.

n Preferred Backgrounds ( Highest-priority talent pools):
n n Luxury & Premium Consumer - COO, GM, Business Head or senior commercial leaders.
n Auction Houses & Art-Market Businesses - Senior commercial, business or operations leaders.
n Premium Hospitality - Senior GM/COO/business leaders managing multiple revenue streams and complex operations.
n Creative, Design & Brand Agencies - COO/MD/business leaders with P&L;, new business, talent and delivery responsibility.

n Other relevant backgrounds:
n n Founder’s Office at high-growth companies, where the candidate has had genuine multi-functional ownership.
n Publishing, media and cultural organisations at COO/MD/business leadership level.
n Management consulting ONLY where followed by genuine operational ownership as COO, GM, founding team member or P&L;/business leader.

n Who Will NOT Be a Good Fit
n • Pure consultants without subsequent operational ownership.
n • Traditional Chief of Staff profiles focused mainly on coordination/executive support.
n • Pure art-world profiles without solid commercial/business capability.
n • Functional operations professionals without meaningful business/P&L; exposure.
n • Pure financial services — investment banking, private equity, venture capital
n • Candidates who need a highly structured environment or narrowly defined scope.
n • People who manage upwards well but have limited experience driving teams and execution.
n • Candidates motivated by title/prestige rather than the work itself.
