JOB DESCRIPTION – ENGINEER – PRODUCTION (FABRICATION)

1. Position Details

Position Title: Engineer – Production (Fabrication)
Department: Production
Location: F-14, Waluj, Aurangabad
Experience: 2–4 Years
Education: Diploma / Degree in Engineering

2. Job Summary

The Engineer – Production will be responsible for managing day-to-day fabrication production activities, ensuring smooth shop-floor operations, maintaining production output, optimizing manpower and machine utilization, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to achieve production and quality targets.

3. Key Responsibilities

- Ensure discipline on the shop floor, including shift management, uniforms, and adherence to safety norms.

- Monitor the daily output of each workstation and maintain accurate production records.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of fabrication processes with overall production plans.

- Maintain knowledge and awareness of production-related documents, IPO documentation, JH, and TPM.

- Optimize process flow, production timelines, and inventory levels.

- Monitor tool changes and machine setup times to minimize production losses.

- Maintain positive working relationships with employees, workers, and supervisors.

- Handle online troubleshooting and ensure proper housekeeping of the shop floor.





- Ensure optimum utilization of the 3M – Man, Machine, and Material.

- Monitor and control online rejection and rework.

- Ensure timely clearance and resolution of online rejection/rework issues.

- Support continuous process improvement and production optimization.

- Coordinate with the Quality team for defect analysis and corrective actions.

- Identify production problems and support root-cause analysis and problem solving.
