- Understand the operation and functions of assigned sewing machines.
- Follow instructions given by the Sewing Trainer/Team Leader.
- Perform assigned sewing operations as per the approved operation method.
- Maintain required stitch quality and sewing standards.
- Follow the correct machine setting and work method.
- Handle fabric and garment components carefully.
- Check own work for defects such as skipped stitches, broken stitches, uneven seams, and loose threads.
- Inform the Team Leader immediately about machine problems or quality issues.
- Maintain proper feeding and movement of garment components.
- Achieve assigned production targets gradually based on skill level.
- Follow approved work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping around the workstation.
- Follow all safety instructions and use required PPE.
- Attend skill development and sewing training programs regularly.
