The plant was established & commissioned by ALCAN group in 1971. The assets of this plant were taken over by Hindalco. The plant consists of

In order to make value added high quality products the unit is constantly upgrading and adding recent technology in every machine centers to transform all equipments with best in class features. In addition to the above the maintenance practices are also been reviewed for constant up-gradation incorporating preventive and predictive maintenance practices. All these are being implemented to improve the availability of equipment.
In order to effectively implement the Preventive & predictive maintenance practices the unit has initiated its requirement for computerized maintenance management system. In order to effectively implement and sustain the PM , CBM scheduling ,
monitoring & adhering to the requirements the above position is required.
