Position: Attending Consultant – Orthopaedics
Department: Orthopaedics
Location: Hospital
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with orthopaedic conditions.
- Conduct OPD consultations and manage inpatient cases.
- Perform and assist in orthopaedic procedures and surgeries as per expertise.
- Manage trauma and emergency orthopaedic cases effectively.
- Develop appropriate treatment plans and ensure continuity of patient care.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient management.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including patient records and discharge summaries.
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, clinical guidelines, and patient safety standards.
- Counsel patients and attendants regarding diagnosis, treatment options, procedures, and follow-up care.




- Participate in clinical meetings, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Support departmental growth through patient care, referrals, and qualified collaboration.

Eligibility
- Qualification: MBBS with MS/DNB/Diploma in Orthopaedics from a recognised institution.
- Experience: Relevant experience in Orthopaedics, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Valid medical registration with the respective medical council.
