Job Summary:

We are looking for a hands-on Desktop SME with 5 to 10 years of experience in
desktop/endpoint engineering to support an SCCM to Intune migration program
covering approximately 6,000 Windows corporate devices. The role is responsible
for device build, imaging, and Autopilot enrollment validation, application
deployment testing, break-fix troubleshooting, and providing hands-on
desktop-level support through pilot migration, mass rollout, and
hypercare,ensuring a smooth transition from the current SCCM/GPO-managed
setting to a cloud-only, Intune-driven model.

Key Responsibilities:

Device Build & Enrollment

* Support device inventory assessment: current OS level, OEM vendor, device
lifecycle, and readiness for migration.
* Configure and validate Autopilot profiles, Enrollment Status Page (ESP),
and Microsoft Entra Join enrollment for corporate and BYOD devices.
* Assist in transitioning device build from the current




corporate-network-bound (PXE/OSD, domain join, GPO-driven) model to the future
Autopilot-driven, cloud-managed (OOBE,Intune-driven) model.
* Perform hands-on testing of standard apps, security policies, and OS
customization applied through Intune during device build.

Application Deployment & Testing

* Test application packaging and deployment readiness for LOB apps, Microsoft
Store apps, MSI packages, and PowerShell-based installs migrated from SCCM to
Intune.
* Identify, log, and help troubleshoot application incompatibilities and
default app/deployment failures on migrated devices.
* Support functional,regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for
applications and device configuration profiles.
* Validate device compliance, security baseline application, and drive
encryption (BitLocker) on test and pilot devices.

Pilot & Mass Migration Support

* Provide hands-on desktop support during pilot migration, capturin
