Key Responsibilities:

* Owns the electrical commodity strategy for built-to-print EMS assemblies —
displays, motor controllers, on-board chargers and DC-DC converters — and the
strategic semiconductor supplier relationships behind them.
* Define and maintain a category roadmap aligned to the product and volume
plan, with clear cost, capacity, risk and localization targets.
* Lead supplier selection, RFQs and sourcing decisions for current programs (NPI)
and for cost/continuity actions on running production.
* Build direct, strategic relationships with semiconductor suppliers — the
makers of the power devices (MOSFETs, IGBTs, SiC, gate drivers),
microcontrollers, memory, display drivers and analog ICs that drive our
assemblies — rather than relying on distribution alone.
* Monitor device pricing, wafer and raw-material (including
rare-earth/magnet) trends, FX and logistics to forecast landed-cost movement
and time buys
* Stay ahead of shifts (e.g. SiC/GaN adoption, controller and display
technology) to guide sourcing and design-in decisions.




* Translate this intelligence into proactive risk actions and buying
strategies, and brief leadership with a clear market outlook.
* Own commodity cost — build should-cost/clean-sheet models for EMS
assemblies (material, labour, overhead, NRE) and negotiate to them.
* Partner with engineering to influence component selection toward
sourceable, second-sourced, lifecycle-healthy parts — early, at design-in.

Ideal Candidate:

* Bachelor's/Master’s degree in engineering or Supply chain Management is
preferred.
* 8–12+ years in strategic sourcing/procurement of electrical or electronic
commodities, including EMS/contract-manufacturing and semiconductor categories.
* a track record of direct semiconductor supplier relationships,
allocation/LTA management, and lifecycle (EOL/PCN) handling.

cross-functional influence.
