Description

The Assistant Analyst - Health & Safety, will report to the India H&S; manager and will be responsible for the implementation of Health & Safety practices, policies and procedures within the Noida office location relative to people, projects, and premises.

Responsibilities

The Assistant Analyst - Health & Safety, will be responsible for the following deliverables within the Noida office location:
1. Facilitate the local implementation of the India H&S; strategy, H&S; Management System in line with ISO 45001 and the Global Expectations for Managing Health & Safety.
2. Work collaboratively with the internal teams and stakeholders to ensure the Health & Safety Management System is effectively implemented locally.
3. Assess the H&S; training needs, plan & organize the necessary H&S; training programs to cover the employees based in Noida office.
4. Monitor the H&S; performance periodically and communicate to the H&S; Manager.
5. Ensure emergency preparedness and response planning is up-to-date for the local emergencies and the arrangements for the expats and international travelers.
6. Support the internal teams and stakeholders to ensure compliance with all applicable legislation pertaining to health & safety.
7. Provide advice and guidance on all aspects of Health & Safety in the office setting.
8. Maintain our internal iSMS (Integrated Safety Management System – an online tool) for the incidents and observations statistics and other H&S; related activities.
9. Analyze statistics of all accidents, near misses, dangerous occurrence, with the view of making recommendations.



Ensure that the near misses and incidents are investigated and the findings and root causes are addressed appropriately to prevent recurrence and the key learnings are shared business-wide.
10. Perform Premises Risk Assessment and Premise Compliance Inspections at the defined frequency or as and when needed.
11. Support the business in local H&S; related procurements to facilitate better execution of the H&S; requirements within the business.
12. Ensure adequate information, advisories and notices on H&S; matters are communicated to the local relevant groups on time through various means of communications.
13. Support the H&S; Manager in implementing relevant occupational health & well-being programs in Noida.
14. Support the H&S; Manager in all H&S; promotional activities and campaigns within the Noida office.
15. Support the H&S; Manager in executing H&S; Projects to cater to the lead region requirements.

Key Competencies / Skills

Occupational Health & Safety Management in an office environment, H&S; Management System (OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001) implementation, Performing H&S; Risk Assessments, Conducting H&S; Inspections, Conducting H&S; Training, Conducting Incident Investigations

Occupational Health & Safety Management in a construction project site, Safety in Design Management, Internal Auditor for OHSAS 18001

Qualifications

Graduate,NEBOSH / Diploma Safety

BGV:
