Job Description: A General Manager of Purchase oversees the end-to-end procurement strategy, vendor management, and material supply chain. They direct contract negotiations, optimize costs, and align purchasing operations with company financial and growth targets. Key Responsibilities

- Strategic Planning: Design and execute long-term procurement and sourcing strategies to reduce costs and build supply chain resilience.

- Vendor Management: Source, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers while managing performance scorecards and strategic partnerships.

- Contract Negotiation: Lead high-value contract discussions to secure optimal pricing, favorable payment terms, and strict service-level agreements.

- Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with production, finance, and project teams to forecast material demand and prevent stock shortages.

- Compliance & Systems: Oversee purchase order accuracy, inventory control, and alignment with company policies and legal regulations.

- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor,



and guide the purchasing department and local site procurement teams.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or Engineering. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.

- Experience: 10 to 15+ years of progressive experience in purchasing, strategic sourcing, or supply chain leadership.

- Skills: Expert-level commercial negotiation, solid financial and cost analysis, and proficiency with ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle).
