- Operate cutting machines safely and efficiently.
- Check fabric, marker, lay, and cutting instructions before starting work.
- Verify fabric shade, width, length, and quality as per requirements.
- Follow approved marker and cutting specifications.
- Ensure proper fabric laying and alignment before cutting.
- Maintain accurate cutting according to patterns and measurements.
- Check cut panels for accuracy, defects, and shade variation.
- Maintain correct cutting quantity as per production plan.
- Separate and bundle cut components according to size, style, color, and lot.
- Attach proper bundle identification tickets.
- Minimize fabric wastage during cutting.
- Inform the Cutting Supervisor/Team Leader about fabric defects or cutting issues.
- Maintain cutting machines, blades, tools, and work areas properly.
- Report machine breakdowns or abnormal conditions to the Maintenance Team.
- Follow 5S, housekeeping, safety, and PPE requirements.
- Follow company quality and production procedures.
- Support the Cutting Team Leader and other cutting activities when required
