"Take complete charge of plant during allocated shift.
Ensure safe start up, shutdown and emergency handling of all product stages.
Conduct shift planning based on production schedule.
Verify shift manpower allocation and task assignment.
Monitor critical process parameters (Temp, Pressure, Vacuum, Dosing rate). Ensure Product quality as per SOP
Ensure proper shift handover with deviation notes & pending jobs.
Ensure housekeeping & 5S in shift area.
To participate in KAIZEN and POKA YOKE.
Conduct toolbox talk at beginning of each shift.
Ensure work permit system in all maintenance activity.
Coordinate with service department in the hours of need.
Ensure scrubber, ETP & emission control compliance during shift.
Verify interlock bypass authorization and restoration.
Ensure logbook completion. To report to manager at the end of every shift. To fill shift report book and do proper HOTO
Ensure that logbook of each section/DCS has been filled properly by operator
To report any deviation or incident
To manage safety documents like near miss, UA, UC etc. To give training to plant operators regarding plant ethics and safety of the plant
To give training to DCS officer regarding interlocks bypass management
Shift leadership, Emergency handling capability, Hazardous chemical risk control, Solid communication, Decision-making under pressure
