Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Veterinarian role based at Pets & Paws Veterinary Hospitals in Udaipur. The Veterinarian will perform clinical examinations, diagnose medical conditions, develop treatment plans, and provide preventive care such as vaccinations, parasite control, and nutritional guidance. Daily responsibilities include performing or assisting with surgeries and procedures, interpreting diagnostic tests, maintaining accurate medical records, and prescribing medications in accordance with clinical guidelines. The role involves communicating clearly with pet families about diagnoses, treatment options, and home care, while collaborating with veterinary assistants and support staff to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care. The Veterinarian is also expected to follow hospital protocols, uphold ethical standards,



support emergency and urgent cases as needed, and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

- Veterinary medical expertise, including strong skills in clinical examination, diagnosis, treatment planning, and preventive care.
- Competence in surgical and procedural skills such as routine soft-tissue surgery, minor orthopedic procedures, anesthesia management, and postoperative care.
- Ability to interpret and utilize diagnostic tools effectively, including laboratory tests, imaging, and other in-clinic diagnostics.
- Clear and empathetic communication skills for educating pet families, explaining treatment options, and collaborating with the veterinary team.
- Strong record-keeping and organizational abilities to maintain accurate medical documentation and manage multiple cases efficiently.
- Commitment to animal welfare, ethical practice, and adherence to professional standards and hospital protocols.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited institution and valid registration/licensure to practice as a Veterinarian, or eligibility to obtain it as required.
- Ability to work on-site in Udaipur, including flexibility to support weekend or emergency shifts as needed.
- Experience in small animal practice or companion animal medicine is preferred; new graduates with strong clinical skills and willingness to learn will also be considered.
