New Initiatives – Commercial Manager
1. What’s the Role
As the New Initiatives – Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and commercializing new business opportunities that leverage Indus Towers’ infrastructure, operational scale, technology capabilities, and sustainability agenda.
The role will focus on developing innovative solutions, conducting market intelligence , and implementation roadmaps, building commercial models, , leading proof-of-concept (PoC) projects, evaluating strategic opportunities, and driving selected initiatives through robust project governance.
Part of the Sustainability & New Initiatives function, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape future growth areas for Indus Towers by creating business models that deliver both commercial and societal value.
2. What Will You Be Doing?
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, emerging technologies, and adjacent growth areas relevant to Indus Towers.
- Develop creative solutions, business models,



and go-to-market strategies that leverage the company's infrastructure and capabilities.
- Build implementation roadmaps to scale promising opportunities from concept to commercialization.
- Conduct market intelligence, competitor benchmarking, ecosystem mapping, and trend analysis to identify growth opportunities and risks.
- Develop financial models, business cases, commercial simulations, and investment assessments for new initiatives.
- Evaluate opportunities from commercial, regulatory, operational, and strategic perspectives.
- Assess revenue potential, scalability, risk-return profiles, and implementation feasibility of new solutions.
- Support evaluation of partnerships, investments, platform opportunities, and other strategic growth initiatives.

Proof of Concept (PoC) & Implementation
- Design and manage proof-of-concept projects to validate business models and technologies, in collaboration with Technology, SCM, Finance and all relevant functions
