Job Purpose: This position will be responsible for facilitating sales operations in bunkering through effective interdepartmental liaison, client relationship management, contract management, data reporting, and strategic digitization and automation initiatives

Responsibilities

- Coordinate end-to-end bunker fuel delivery operations for vessels at Mundra Port, offshore anchorage, and designated supply locations.
- Liaise with ship owners, charterers, vessel masters, shipping agents, surveyors, port authorities, and bunker suppliers for seamless operational execution.
- Monitor vessel nominations, ETA/ETD updates, berth availability, and bunker schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
- Plan and execute bunker supply operations while ensuring adherence to contractual commitments and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with logistics and transport teams for movement of fuel from terminals, depots, or storage facilities to delivery points.
- Ensure accurate preparation, verification, and maintenance of Bunker Delivery Notes (BDN), tank sounding reports, survey reports, and delivery documentation.
- Track fuel quantity, quality, and delivery status throughout the supply cycle and resolve any operational discrepancies.




- Work closely with independent surveyors to conduct quantity measurements and ensure transparency during bunker operations.
- Monitor inventory positions and support stock planning to ensure uninterrupted bunker supply to customers.
- Update operational transactions, delivery records, and inventory details in SAP/ERP systems on a timely basis.
- Coordinate with commercial and trading teams to execute bunker sales orders and support customer service requirements.
- Assist finance and accounts teams in invoice verification, reconciliation, dispute resolution, and transaction closures.
- Ensure compliance with port regulations, maritime laws, environmental standards, and company operating procedures.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with port authorities, vessel agents, and marine service providers for operational clearances and approvals.
- Investigate operational delays, delivery interruptions, shortages, or quality-related issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports on bunker deliveries, vessel movements, inventory utilization, and operational performance.
- Maintain solid coordination with internal stakeholders, including operations, logistics, finance, commercial, supply chain, and HSE teams.
- Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews by ensuring accurate documentation and records management.
- Identify opportunities for operational efficiency, cost optimization, and process improvement within bunker supply operations.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) standards during all bunker handling and delivery activities.

Qualifications

Education Qualification:

Graduate in Commerce, Logistics, Maritime Studies, or related field

Work Experience (Range of years):

2+ years in bunker operations, shipping, logistics, marine services, or fuel trading operations preferred.
