Job Title: HVAC Costing Engineer

Job Summary
* We are seeking an experienced HVAC Costing Engineer / Assistant Manager to handle cost estimation, tendering, and design analysis for pharmaceutical HVAC projects (OSD, BFS, Injectables, Sterile Units).
* The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of cleanroom HVAC design, project costing, and GMP / ISO 14644 compliance.

Roles & Responsibilities
* HVAC Cost Estimation & Tendering
* Prepare detailed BOQs and cost estimates for HVAC systems (AHU, Chillers, Ducting, Piping, Cleanroom Air Systems).
* Analyze tender documents and drawings to derive accurate costing.
* Develop rate analysis for materials, fabrication, and subcontracting work.
* Design Review & Compliance
* Review load calculations, airflow diagrams, pressure cascades & zoning maps.
* Support design optimization and value engineering initiatives.
* Vendor & Procurement Coordination
* Coordinate with vendors for equipment like AHUs, Chillers, and Cleanroom Panels.
* Conduct techno-commercial evaluations and price negotiations.
* Prepare vendor comparison and cost justification reports.
* Tender Documentation & Client Interaction




* Prepare technical & commercial tender proposals.
* Attend pre-bid meetings, client discussions, and support proposal teams.
* Budgeting & Cost Control
* Monitor project cost variations and support cost control plans.
* Prepare MIS reports and cost tracking summaries.
* Team Leadership
* Guide junior engineers and ensure accuracy in estimation and documentation.
* Collaborate with design, QA/QC, and project teams.

Qualifications
* B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
* 2–5 years of experience in HVAC estimation/costing for Pharma or Cleanroom projects.
* Strong understanding of HVAC systems (VRV, Air-Cooled/Water-Cooled Chillers, DX Systems).
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and report documentation.
* Excellent communication and analytical skills.
