- Generate and process Purchase Orders (POs)
- Ensure materials are available as per production schedules
Vendor Management
- Identify and develop recent suppliers
- Maintain relationships with existing vendors
- Evaluate vendors based on:
- Cost
- Quality
- Delivery performance
Sourcing roles typically involve continuous vendor development and negotiation
Costing & Negotiation
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts
- Work on cost reduction initiatives
- Compare quotations and finalize suppliers
