Their goal is simple: take the confusion out of vehicle repairs by making it easier for customers to understand what their car needs, what it should cost and what happens next.They are now looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join their growing team and become a key link between customers and mechanics.If you know your way around cars, enjoy solving problems and have a knack for explaining technical information in a way that customers understand, this could be a great next step for you.About the RoleAutomotive experience is essential for this role.You will use your Service Advisor experience and mechanical knowledge to understand customer-reported vehicle problems, ask the right questions, scope repair requirements and provide accurate, commercially appropriate quotes.You'll work closely with mechanics to make sure jobs are correctly understood and clearly documented, while keeping customers informed throughout the repair journey.You don't need to be a SMART repair expert. An understanding of SMART repairs is beneficial,



and structured training will be provided to build your knowledge and estimating capability in this area.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle inbound mechanical repair enquiries (100–150 per day).Understand vehicle symptoms and ask the right diagnostic questions.Translate customer requirements into clear job scopes for mechanics.Produce accurate, fair and commercially appropriate repair quotes.Liaise with mechanics to validate repair requirements where needed.Explain repairs, pricing and next steps clearly to customers.Identify unusual, high-value or high-risk jobs and escalate appropriately.Maintain accurate quotes, job notes and customer records.Keep customers and mechanics updated throughout the repair journey.Help minimise pricing disputes, misunderstandings and comebacks.Support customer conversion and sign-up targets.RequirementsEssential — automotive experience requiredProven experience as a Service Advisor within an automotive/mechanical repair environment.Strong practical knowledge of vehicle repairs, mechanical faults and workshop processes.Experience assessing repair requirements and providing automotive estimates/quotes.Solid customer service and communication skills, with excellent written and spoken English.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Good commercial judgement around repair pricing.Ability to explain technical information in plain English.Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.Please note:
