Role OverviewWe are looking for a highly analytical and process-driven professional to lead our FinanceOperations for Flights and Hotels LOB. This is a highly cross-functional role sitting at theintersection of Finance, Technology, Business and Product. The candidate will own the end-to-end transaction lifecycle from booking to settlement across multiple payment gateways,suppliers (hotels, airlines, GDS/aggregators), for our Flights and Hotels LOB. The idealcandidate is someone who can scale a reconciliation engine, automate manual processes, closebooks on time, and act as the custodian of financial data across the organisationKey Responsibilities● Own end-to-end reconciliation of transactions across payment gateways, bankingpartners, suppliers/operators, OTAs, and internal systems.● Ensure timely reconciliation of refunds, settlements, chargebacks, and payment gatewaycosts.● Identify, investigate, and resolve reconciliation discrepancies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.● Ensure unreconciled items are tracked and closed within a given TATand set up acontrol mechanism and real time dashboard and MIS on recon health.● Lead and mentor the reconciliation team, ensuring timely delivery and operationalexcellence.● Act as the primary point of contact for Finance, Product, Engineering, Banking Partners,and Vendors for reconciliation-related matters.● Drive closure of pending settlements and escalations with internal and externalstakeholders.● Own timely and accurate closure of books in line with Ind AS.



Drive the FinOps checklistfor month-end and reduce close cycle time year on year without compromising on quality.●● Establish robust financial controls and ensure adherence to internal policies andcompliance requirements.● Serve as single point of contact for Statutory, Internal, Tax and other audits. Track andclose audit observations with permanent process fixes● Identify manual, repetitive, and error-prone processes and drive automation● Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, andscalability.● Support current payment methods, operator integrations, and business initiatives bydesigning scalable reconciliation processes.● Act as the custodian of finance and transactional data. Own key operational MISSkills & Qualifications● 6-9 years of experience in Reconciliation, Financial Operations,.● CA / CA Inter● Strong understanding of online transaction processing, payment gateways, settlements,refunds, and financial controls.● Advanced MS Excel skills and have experience around automation of recurringprocesses.● Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central,, is an advantage.● Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solvingskills.● Prior experience in the travel, fintech, e-commerce, or payments industry is preferred.Additional Information: Candidates are responsible for safeguarding sensitive company data against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure, and for reporting any suspected security incidents in line with the organization's ISMS (Information Security Management System) policies and procedures.
