Job Description About Drucks
n At Drucks, we're building one of the world's first consumer footwear brands powered entirely by additive manufacturing.
n Every shoe begins with an individual's feet, not a standard mold. We are building the complete technology stack that makes this possible, including computational design workflows, digital manufacturing tools, custom software, proprietary manufacturing processes, and advanced FDM 3D printing.
n We're looking for someone who enjoys solving engineering problems through computational design and automation.
n Please Read Before Applying
n This is NOT a traditional footwear design role. This is NOT a role for:
n n UI/UX Designers
n Graphic Designers
n Fashion Designers
n Footwear Designers
n Industrial Designers focused primarily on concept development
n n This role is for engineers and computational designers who are deeply comfortable with Rhino, Grasshopper, parametric design, and FDM 3D printing.
n If your primary expertise is Rhino, Grasshopper, geometry, automation, scripting, and digital manufacturing, we'd love to hear from you.
n What You'll Work On
n You'll help us build the computational backbone of our footwear platform.
n Instead of manually creating every model, you'll develop systems that enable our team to generate thousands of unique products efficiently.
n Your work will include:
n n Creating complex production-ready geometry in Rhino
n Building parametric Grasshopper definitions
n Developing reusable computational design workflows
n Automating repetitive modelling tasks
n Preparing models for additive manufacturing
