Key Responsibilities
- Conduct foundation analysis and design for various construction and infrastructure projects.
- Perform shoring design, dewatering design, and stability analysis of excavations to ensure project safety and efficiency.
- Utilize numerical tools such as Plaxis and GeoStudio packages for geotechnical modeling and analysis.
- Analyze field data and prepare comprehensive reports, providing actionable recommendations to clients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and professionals to develop innovative geotechnical solutions.
- Assist in soil dynamics and seismic studies, contributing to the seismic design and analysis of structures (experience in this area is a plus).
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, codes, and standards to ensure compliance and best practices in geotechnical engineering.
- Prior experience in working with international team/clients.
- Contribute to the mentoring and development of junior engineers.
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Geotechnical Engineering is required.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
- Strong knowledge and expertise in foundation analysis and design.
- Proficiency in using numerical tools such as Plaxis and GeoStudio packages.
- Experience in shoring design, dewatering design, and stability analysis of excavations.
- Excellent field data analysis skills with a proven ability to generate clear and concise reports.
- Good understanding of soil dynamics and seismic studies (preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with colleagues and clients.
