Job Description

- Source and evaluate vendors for biomedical equipment, medical devices, spares and consumables.

- Obtain and compare quotations, prepare comparative statements and negotiate prices and terms.

- Coordinate with BME, clinical departments, Finance, Stores and vendors for purchase requirements.

- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery.

- Maintain vendor database, pricing records, purchase trackers and procurement documentation.

- Coordinate equipment demonstrations, technical evaluations, installation and commissioning.

- Verify specifications, quantity, warranty and other requirements against purchase orders.

- Monitor vendor performance, lead times, replacements and service-related issues.

- Support AMC/CMC, warranty and spare-parts procurement.

- Ensure procurement complies with hospital policies,



quality standards and applicable regulatory

Qualification

B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical or related field. MBA/PG qualification in Supply Chain/Procurement is an advantage.
