A senior, Vice President-level opportunity within the Operations function of a leading global financial services group, seeking an experienced derivatives settlements leader to own Global OTC Derivatives Settlements across AEJ, EMEA and US entities. The role offers significant visibility, with close partnership across Front Office, Middle Office, Technology and vendor partners.

This role offers the opportunity to lead a high-volume, technology-driven settlements function, with a solid focus on automation, control and global consistency.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:
- Managing Global OTC Derivatives Settlements operations across AEJ, EMEA and US.
- Working with Front Office, Middle Office, Technology, Reference Data Management and vendor partners to ensure smooth delivery and timely resolution of settlement issues.
- Overseeing OTC Settlements applications and ensuring alignment with market initiatives and regulatory requirements.
- Managing bespoke and non-standard settlement processes, including manual SSI management and client-specific protocols.




- Driving automation, robotics and system enhancements to reduce manual intervention and operational risk.
- Setting the strategic direction for the OTC Settlements team and ensuring consistent service and control standards globally.
- Conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventive controls for settlement incidents.
- Managing capacity planning, headcount and resource allocation to support volume growth and service levels.
- Leading KRI monitoring and break reduction initiatives, translating data into key business metrics.

To be eligible for this role you will require:
- 15+ years of relevant experience in Derivative Settlements, covering Fixed Income and Equity Derivatives.
- Strong client and employee focus, with high ethical standards and a robust control mindset.
- Demonstrated executive presence across clients, desks, Middle Office, Technology, Audit and Regulators.
