Nomura Services India, (Powai) supports Nomura's businesses around the world. Powai' s world class capabilities in trading support, research, information technology, financial control, operations, risk management and legal support have played a key role in facilitating Nomura's global operations and are an integral part of Nomura's global expansion plans. The Powai operation is a critical part of the platform to support the growth of Nomura's global business.

- Strong programming background, with 10+ years of core Java, J2EE experience with Spring,Hibernate and databases (RDBMS - preferably Oracle)
- Experience building multithreaded real-time systems with high volume of messages using Tibco EMS / RV / IBM MQ or similar middleware,



handling XML message parsing, building, publishing
- Familiarity with Development and source code versioning tools such as Maven / Gradle, Jenkins, Git, and ability to configure them and refactor the apps where required - is mandatory.
- Familiar with scheduling agents like Autosys, etc
- Good problem solving skills Valuable understanding of programming concepts, design patterns and multi-tier enterprise application architecture.
- Strong Unix scripting skills
- Experience in migrating legacy / vendor applications to the Public Cloud (AWS)
- Knowledge of Investment banking (Fixed income in particular preferably) domain

Preferred:

- Experience with Cloud/DevOps tools will be a plus
- Experience with reporting tools like iReports will be a plus
- Experience on C++ / C# .Net will be a plus
- Experience with HTML5 UI technology such as ReactJS, NodeJS, Electron will be a plus
