Job DescriptionJagran New Media is hiring Video Editor for its News & Info Team.
nJob Responsibilities:
n● Gather and transfer all forms of media into editing software and ensure each was updated in
nthe correct format.
n● Deliverables: Corporate videos, testimonial videos, commercial ads, DVCs, TVCs, event
nvideos, explainer videos, social media reels and motion graphics films.
n● Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video's creation
n● Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film with dialogues and
ngraphics.
n● Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects.
n● Create rough and final cuts.
n● Understanding of Sound recording, Music compositing, and special effects
n● Improve video and sound quality using various video software
n● Able to work in a fast-paced environment and have strong organizational skills to manage
nmultiple projects simultaneously.
nPre requisite:
n● 2 - 4 years of work experience as a Video Editor
n● Bachelor's degree in film studies, cinematography or related field




n● Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g., Premiere, After
nEffects and Final Cut, Audition, Capcut, Davinci Resolve)
n● Knowledge of production and cinematography experience
n● Demonstrable video editing ability with a solid portfolio
n● Experience editing various video projects and inserting sound effects, music and transitions
n● Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing.
n● Understanding of video formats, compression techniques and format.
n● Creative mind and storytelling skills.
n● Thorough knowledge of timing and continuity.
n● Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry's best practices
