Introduction:

Post Trade Confirmations IT department requires a hands-on .NET developer in our development team. The main job function expected from this role is to perform design, code development, application maintenance and support activities for Trident Blue confirmations applications. Role requires technology expertise in latest versions and concepts of .NET [C#, .Net core, Web API], Angular, Mongo DB. Responsibilities include technical assessment of requirements, effort estimation,



solution design, coding, testing, deployment, maintenance and support in accordance with SDLC best practices. Have strong experience in design patterns, architectural patterns, and writing performance productive applications. The role will require working closely and collaboratively with colleagues in Pune, Chennai, Glasgow, Whippany and London.

What will you be doing?

• Gather requirements and ability to perform effort estimation for a given piece of work.
• Develop quality code using technologies specified in Job purpose
• Passion for writing readable, performing, maintainable and extensible code
• Creating and maintaining unit tests with an aim for code coverage
• Ensuring code written meets the predefined company and department standards
• Leading a team and drive implementation of assigned module/work.
• Providing support during SIT, QA and UAT test phases
• Provide UAT/Integration Testing Support as and when required across Trident Blue application
• Strictly follow Barclays standard release management processes
• Be able to apply knowledge and experience as well as industry best practice when assessing needs/solutions
• Establish best practice in release and change management space and evaluate any performance impact across applications
• Ability to juggle priorities, multi- task and flawlessly execute at speed

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
• Min 8 years of experience in developing enterprise grade software application using C# .Net.
• Good understanding of micro services and event driven architecture.
• Good understanding of SOLID design principles, Dependency Injection
• Experience in automated unit testing using NUnit / XUnit, Mocking framework.
• Positive understanding of BDD using Specflow.
• Experience in application development using any middleware technologies like MQ/Solace/Kafka.




• Good understanding of tools like JIRA, Git Bit Bucket, Team City, Sonar Cube, etc.
• Should be able to drive and deliver the assigned tasks independently.
