Lead Workday Integration Consultant
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are a certified Workday Partner looking for a Lead Workday Integration Consultant to own the design, delivery, and governance of complex Workday integrations across enterprise programs.
This role is ideal for a senior integration professional who enjoys leading teams, influencing architecture decisions, engaging with clients, and ensuring integration excellence across large -scale Workday implementations and support engagements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Integration Leadership & Delivery
- Lead the end -to -end design, development, and deployment of Workday integrations using Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, Calculated Fields, and Custom Reports.
- Define and enforce integration standards, best practices, and architectural patterns across programs.
- Own integration strategy and roadmap, aligning technical solutions with business objectives.
Technical Architecture & Execution
- Provide hands -on expertise in XSLT, XTT, XML, and Java to deliver scalable, secure, and high -performing integrations.
- Design and govern integrations using Web Services and APIs (WSDL, SOAP, REST, WS standards).
- Review and approve technical designs, code, and documentation to ensure quality and maintainability.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the primary integration advisor for clients, guiding technical decisions and managing expectations.
- Lead requirements workshops and technical working sessions with business, functional, and IT stakeholders.
- Partner with third -party vendors and internal teams to deliver end -to -end integration solutions.
Release, Risk & Support Management
- Lead Workday R1/R2 release impact analysis, regression testing strategy, and remediation planning.
- Proactively identify technical risks, dependencies, and constraints, driving mitigation plans.
- Oversee post -production support, ensuring timely resolution of complex integration issues.
People & Capability Development
- Mentor and coach senior and junior integration consultants, raising overall team capability.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and knowledge -sharing initiatives within the integration practice.
Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 7–12 years of experience in Workday Integration development and leadership.
- Workday Integration Certification (Studio strongly preferred).
- Proven experience leading complex, multi -system integration programs.
- Strong functional understanding of Workday HCM and/or Financials.
- Hands -on expertise with inbound, outbound, and orchestration integrations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Prior experience in consulting or system integration environments.
- You balance strategic thinking with hands -on execution.
- You can lead teams without losing technical depth.
- You take full ownership of outcomes, not just tasks.
- You are comfortable influencing senior client stakeholders.
- You enjoy building high -performing integration teams.
