ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Analysing customer-provided schematics, drawings, specifications, and requirements to develop detailed plans for the design, assembly, and integration of electro-mechanical systems
- Lead and manage full wiring harness specifications, oversee the physical build process, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Performing technical feasibility assessments and generate critical inputs (cost estimates, risks, timelines) for RFQs to support current business acquisition.
- Conduct BOM (Bill of Materials) creation, and maintenance; own the Engineering Change Order (ECO) and Engineering Change Notice (ECN) processes to keep documentation accurate and up to date.
- Preparing essential production documentation, including PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Manufacturing Flow Diagrams (MFD), and other process control documents
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (project management, quality, supply chain, and production) to ensure on-time project delivery and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
- Resolve technical issues and complex engineering problems efficiently.
- Conduct technical feasibility assessments, risk analysis, cost estimation, and timeline planning for RFQs to support current business acquisition
- Analyze customer schematics, drawings, and specifications to develop detailed plans for design, assembly, and integration of complex electro-mechanical systems and box builds.
- Lead full-cycle wiring harness development from specification creation to physical build and compliance with industry standards.
- Prepare essential production documents: PFMEA, SOPs,



Manufacturing Flow Diagrams (MFD), and other process control records.
- Collaborate with project management, quality, supply chain, and production teams to ensure on-time delivery while meeting safety and regulatory requirements.
- Proactively resolve complex technical issues and engineering challenges.
- Managed end-to-end new product development for clusters, control panels, railway wiring boards, dashboard panels
- Interacted directly with customers to address queries, incorporate feedback, and meet quality & delivery targets.
- Created part codes, BOMs, managed BOM lifecycle, prepared electrical/electronic schematics, and developed product development plans aligned with project timelines.
- Built and validated prototypes, developed test setups, managed proto build issues, conducted root cause analysis, and ensured quick resolution.
- Coordinated with SCM for timely prototype part availability; collaborated in cross-functional and multi-cultural environments.
- Developed manufacturing processes and tooling (internal & third-party), prepared costing workouts, achieved 100% on-time delivery with zero defects/rework.
- Drove cost savings in stocking/non-stocking items, implement continuous improvements (5S, Poka Yoke, Kaizen), and maintained ISO & QMS documentation.




- Prepared MIS reports (daily/weekly/monthly) and led team-building initiatives.
- Handled production planning, scheduling, and sequencing for railway control panels and driver desks for clients:
- Ensured production targets for quality & quantity, optimized utilization of man, machine, method, material, and environment.
- Monitored line efficiency (OLE), controlled scrap/CoPQ, reduced downtime through root cause analysis, and initiated CAPA for production/safety issues.
- Coordinated material procurement, assembled prototypes as per customer requirements, achieved 100% on-time delivery and zero defects.
- Prepared daily/weekly/monthly production & sales reports; reviewed capacity plans and maintained FG/WIP/RM inventory targets.

QUALIFICATION & PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:

- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field
- 7-10 years of hands-on experience in electro-mechanical product development, box-build assemblies, wiring harnesses, and NPI processes in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong expertise in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and deep knowledge of relevant IPC Standards.
- Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex technical challenges in a high-pressure setting.
- Hands on experience in Software – E-Plan will be additional advantage.
- Basic electronics and SMT Knowledge and PCB assembly processes.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, practices, and industry standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
