Role Description The Reporter will work full time on-site at InternHub Daily’s Mumbai office, covering news and feature stories relevant to interns, students, and early-career audiences. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching and pitching story ideas, conducting interviews, gathering information from multiple sources, and writing explicit, engaging news and feature pieces under deadline. The Reporter will verify facts, maintain high editorial standards, and work with editors to refine angles and structure. The role may also involve producing basic multimedia content, such as photos, short videos, or social-friendly snippets to support published stories, as well as attending events and briefings as assigned.
Qualifications
Strong reporting skills, including research, interviewing, and fact-checking
Excellent writing and news writing skills,



with the ability to produce clear, concise, and engaging stories
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for working with sources and collaborating with the editorial team
Basic multimedia skills, such as handling images, short videos, or social content to complement reporting
Ability to work on-site in Mumbai in a fast-paced newsroom environment and meet tight deadlines
Understanding of journalistic ethics, accuracy standards, and inclusive storytelling practices
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or a related field is preferred
Prior internship or entry-level experience in news, digital media, or publishing is an advantage
