About The Role
Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Transformation and Strategy, you will lead our Corporate Governance and Corporate Administration function, providing strategic leadership and expert advice on all aspects of governance, compliance and organisational accountability.
Working closely with the Board Chair, Chief Executive, Non-Executive Directors and Executive Leadership Team,
you will play a pivotal role in ensuring robust governance arrangements that support effective decision-making, organisational performance and public accountability.
The role carries responsibility for developing and continuously improving the Board's governance framework, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, statutory requirements and NHS Scotland guidance. You will serve as a trusted adviser to senior leaders, supporting the Board and its Committees to operate effectively, transparently and in accordance with best practice.
You will also lead the delivery of Board and Committee business, oversee key governance processes, provide oversight of corporate administration services and contribute to the strategic development of the organisation as it responds to a complex and evolving healthcare environment.
