Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Admission Counselor to join our growing educational institution. This role is pivotal in shaping the student journey from the initial inquiry to enrollment, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for prospective students and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students and parents, providing clear and accurate information about programs, admission requirements, and institutional policies.
- Manage the end -to -end admissions process, including application review, documentation verification, and follow -up communication to ensure timely completion.
- Collaborate with academic departments, faculty, and administrative teams to align admission criteria with program standards and institutional objectives.
- Maintain accurate and up -to -date records in the student information system; ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
- Provide support to students during the transition from application to enrolment, including orientation coordination and onboarding guidance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in admissions counseling, student services, or teaching within an educational institution.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport across diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast -paced setting.
- Basic understanding of financial aid processes, scholarships, and enrollment policies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team-oriented team in a mission -driven educational setting.
