Role Description The Reporter role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Ahmedabad Area. The Reporter will be responsible for identifying, researching, and covering news and feature stories related to the automotive sector, Concept Group’s brands, customer experiences, and market trends. Daily tasks include conducting interviews, gathering information from various sources, verifying facts, and producing transparent, accurate, and engaging written and multimedia content for internal and external channels. The role involves collaborating with marketing and communications teams to align stories with brand messaging, attending events, launches, and press briefings, and meeting strict deadlines and editorial standards. The Reporter is expected to maintain ethical reporting practices, build a strong network of industry contacts, and continuously monitor developments in the regional and national automotive space.
Qualifications
Strong reporting skills, including story identification, information gathering, fact-checking, and source development.




Excellent communication and writing abilities, with a focus on clear, concise, and engaging news and feature content.
Proficiency in news writing, including structuring articles, headlines, and leads that meet editorial and style guidelines.
Experience with multimedia content creation (e.g., photos, video clips, social media posts) to support digital storytelling.
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong command of written and spoken English; proficiency in relevant regional languages is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site, manage multiple assignments simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Familiarity with the automotive industry or business reporting is preferred, along with basic digital tools (CMS, social media, office productivity software).
