MS Dynamics Finance- Senior Consultant, Functional Transformation

Within this practice, the Microsoft Dynamics team works across finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and business operations to help clients modernize processes, improve decision-making, and drive large-scale digital transformation.

As part of this team, you will work with cross-functional professionals who bring experience in strategy, process design, technology enablement, and implementation delivery. The team supports clients through the full transformation lifecycle, helping them unlock value from Microsoft Dynamics Finance solutions and build more productive, scalable operations.

Level: Senior Consultant or equivalent

As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting Services, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale software solutions, lead the creation of robust pipelines and manage code deployment across environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to translate functional requirements into effective deliverables, independently guiding and mentoring junior team members. Your role spans the full project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, execution, and tracking key metrics for analysis, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of solutions.

Work you'll do

As a Senior Consultant, Functional Transformation on the Emerging ERP Solutions team,



you will be responsible for supporting Finance & Operations transformations through requirements analysis, solution design, system configuration, testing, and post-go-live support.

- Lead functional workstreams for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementations across finance and operations processes
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into functional designs and system configurations
- Support solution build, testing, deployment, cutover, and post-go-live activities across project phases
- Collaborate with integration, technical, and client stakeholder teams to support reports, interfaces, and end-to-end process execution
- Track deliverables, communicate status, and apply delivery standards that support quality and reuse
- Contribute to solution improvements and implementation approaches that enhance delivery outcomes

The Emerging ERP Solutions offering provides advice, planning, and implementation of Cloud ERP solutions like Workday, MS Dynamics and Infor, featuring built-in industry-specific capabilities. The USI team plays a crucial role throughout the entire engagement lifecycle, from initial pursuits to final delivery. Specializing in Financials and Supply Chain transformations,



the team also implements Adaptive Planning Solutions across various industries. Their deep expertise in both technology and domain ensures effective, tailored solutions that drive value and operational excellence for clients.

Location: Bengaluru/Hyderabad/Pune/Chennai

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM or 2 PM to 11 PM IST as per business requirements

Qualifications

Required:

- 6+ years of consulting or industry experience
- Experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations enterprise resource planning solutions
- Completion of at least 3 full life cycle Microsoft Dynamics enterprise resource planning implementations
- Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, tax, fixed asset management, and budgeting processes
- Experience with supply chain management processes preferred for applicable project assignments
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional solution designs
- Experience with cloud-based software as a service and platform as a service offerings
- Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology, Master of Computer Applications, Master of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent degree from an accredited university

Preferred:

- Active Microsoft Dynamics certification
- Experience supporting reporting, testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities in ERP implementations
- Experience working across cross-functional stakeholder groups in large-scale transformation programs
