Job Title: Quality Control Technician
Experience: Minimum 2 years

Job Summary

A Mechanical QC Technician performs incoming, in-process, and final inspection of mechanical components. The technician ensures that parts meet dimensional tolerances, specifications mentioned in engineering drawings and ensure parts comply with company quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform visual and dimensional inspection of mechanical components.
- Inspect incoming materials, machined parts, fabricated components, and assemblies.
- Read and understand engineering drawings with GD&T;.
- Use of measuring instruments such as:

1. Vernier Caliper, Outside/Inside Micrometre, Height Gauge, Dial Gauge, Bore Gauge,



Feeler Gauge, Thread and Plug Gauge, Surface Gauge etc.

- Carry out inspection of machining, welding, fabrication, grinding, and assembly operations.
- Assist with NCR (Non-Conformance Report) preparation.
- Maintain inspection and traceability records.
- Support QC Engineers during customer, supplier, and third-party inspections.
- Follow quality procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements.
- Travelling to vendor facilities for inspection, travelling will be more than 50% of the times.

Required Technical Skills

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of work experience.
- Good knowledge of mechanical precision measuring instruments and inspection methods.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Understanding of fits, tolerances and GD&T;.
- Good observation and defect-identification skills.
- MS Office Excel & Word basic working knowledge is must.

- Willingness to learn current skills and implement them to improve productivity.
- High integrity to report product defects honestly despite production pressure.
- Communicates clearly and effectively with engineers and external vendors.
