Role & responsibilities

1. Prepares and manages overall master project schedule, integrating the project work

2. Consult and coordinate with all Supervisors & Managers to incorporate relevant information that will affect the implementation of the project schedule.

3. Monitors and forecasts progress of activities in contractors work schedules, identifies and highlights anticipated problem areas and recommends remedial actions.

4. Evaluates critical paths in the project schedules and evaluates alternative program options to identify optimum project strategies or resolve problems before and during execution.

5. Undertakes probability studies for completion dates and potential alternatives; presents risk- based analysis of most likely completion and expected deviation range.

6. Maintains updated Schedules, collecting actual data, evaluating probable completion dates and projected project delays by effective monitoring of actual progress and productivity compared with the contractually committed schedule.

7. Prepare budget histograms, tables, curves, resources logs (Manpower, Materials, Equipment)



as reference baselines for the control during the various project execution phases.

8. Develops plan vis--vis actual progress curves; reports and analyses monthly deviations from plan to decide on courage of action periodically.

9. Evaluates allocation of resources and provides recommendations to maintain required progress.

10. Liaises with all team members to communicate committed completion dates and interfaces between responsible parties; works closely with cost engineer and project engineer for monitoring expenditure vis--vis value of work completion forecast.

11. Prepares and issues updated project schedules on a regularly defined basis.

12. Issue the Planning & Scheduling Procedure and the Progress Measurement Procedure.

13. Ensures that the project's planning and scheduling requirements are deflexed clearly

14. At site, monitors daily and report progress of erection, pre-commissioning and commissioning completion status.

15. Proficient in standard presentation software, especially Microsoft Powerpoint
