Responsibilities:

1. Initiation of project codes and perform literature and patent search and compilation for the projects allotted.

2. To perform the innovator and test sample characterization.

3. To perform and prepare the drug-excipient compatibility study and prototype formulations based on the preformulation study.

4. To perform and monitor pilot scale-up, exhibit and stability batches, formula and process optimization studies.

5. Preparation of Master Formula Record (MFR).

6. Preparation of Formulation Development Protocols and Reports.

7. Initiation of specification proposals, method development and method validation request forms.

8. Handling and calibration of equipment.

9. To follow GMP and GDP as per SOPs.

10. Documentation of LNB, equipment usage logbooks and RH monitoring logs.

11. To solve problems and queries related to formulation development and discuss them with the Group Leader.Role & responsibilities
