Inventory Management (IM) / Warehouse Management (WM)
Role Overview
This role owns the physical and system truth of stock. Today inventory is split between the ERP and a legacy shop-floor system,
movements are tracked on paper and in Excel, hold and defective stock are segregated physically with manual approvals, and shelf-life and re-inspection cycles are administered outside the system. Your mandate is to bring all of it into standard S/4HANA IM and WM with batch-level accuracy, real-time synchronization to the shop-floor execution layer, and the product-specific packing and lot-handling rules the business genuinely depends on. Lot splitting and merging, cavity-level sub-lots, FIFO picking, mixed-lot restrictions and shelf-life enforcement are core requirements, not edge cases.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead inventory and warehouse validation workshops across four plants and two divisions; produce signed-off functional design.Configure Inventory Management: plant and storage-location structure, movement types, special stocks, transfer postings, goods receipt and issue, physical inventory and cycle counting
