Role Description This full time remote Credentialing Specialist role is responsible for managing provider credentialing and enrollment processes with accuracy and timeliness. Day-to-day tasks include collecting and verifying provider information, preparing and submitting applications to payers and regulatory agencies, and maintaining up-to-date credentialing records and databases. The role involves monitoring application status, resolving discrepancies, and following up proactively with providers, payers, and internal stakeholders.



The Credentialing Specialist will communicate regularly with clients to address questions, provide updates, and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new and existing providers. This position also supports compliance with payer and government program requirements, contributing to streamlined revenue cycle operations.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Credentialing and Medical Staff Credentialing skills, including experience with provider enrollment and verification processes.
Candidates should possess solid Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with providers, payers, and internal teams.
Candidates should possess working knowledge of Medicare and other major payer requirements, including basic understanding of healthcare regulations.
Candidates should possess proficiency in using credentialing software, practice management systems, and standard office productivity tools.
