The role
You own one client program end to end: their CMS website platform and the organic pipeline it produces.
Two teams sit under that outcome. Engineers own the CMS stack, performance, integrations and releases. The SEO and marketing team owns discoverability, site structure and conversion. Organic leads only move when both are working, so one person owns both rather than two people negotiating across a boundary. That person is you.
You'll run it inside an AI-charged delivery process. AI drafts requirements, stories, test cases and much of the code; our people approve every stage before work moves on. On our last core platform programme, 81% of delivery work products were AI-drafted before review, and it shipped in four months against the client's own twelve-month estimate. Both are our own measurement.
One consequence: your specification isn't a handoff document, it's an input an AI system executes against. Ambiguity a human engineer would quietly resolve becomes a defect at volume. Writing precisely is the core skill, not a soft one.
What you'll do




Carry the program number. Delivery and lead growth are one accountability, not two
Work directly with client senior stakeholders: CMO, CIO, VP Engineering, Head of Growth
Run the CMS roadmap with a technical product owner and engineers: architecture tradeoffs, page performance, integrations, release decisions
Set SEO priorities against the same funnel and sequence them alongside engineering work, not behind it
Write requirements and acceptance criteria accurate enough to execute against without guesswork
Review AI-generated artifacts and decide what passes and what goes back
Report what moved the number, what didn't, and what changes next
Hold scope and quality when a client asks for more, faster, and both. Flag slippage early, not at the deadline
