Role Description The Regional Sales Manager is a full-time role based in the Greater Chennai Area with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site client visits and office days with some work from home. This role is responsible for driving sales of diesel generators and power solutions, managing a regional sales territory,



and achieving revenue and growth targets. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and qualifying prospects, conducting sales meetings and product presentations, preparing proposals and quotations, and negotiating contracts. The Regional Sales Manager will manage key accounts, build long-term relationships with customers, and coordinate closely with internal teams for order processing, delivery, and after-sales support. The role also involves market research, competitor analysis, sales forecasting, and regular reporting to leadership, while mentoring and guiding local sales representatives as needed.
Qualifications
Proven experience in B2B sales or regional sales management, preferably in power solutions, industrial equipment, or related sectors.
Robust skills in prospecting, lead generation, and pipeline management, with the ability to convert opportunities into successful deals.
