Job Description

As Associate at WSP you will lead and manage mechanical designs within the Water sector. Working alongside the Design Manager, Project Managers and multi-disciplinary team along with mentoring the junior staff within the mechanical team. You will be responsible for overseeing engineering design work and ensuring compliance with best practices and UK regulations.

Responsibilities

Support the delivery of large schemes and lead smaller schemes within the technical design team, providing technical guidance to water and wastewater project teams.
Work within the regulated water industry, with opportunities to support projects across other sectors where required.
Develop technical capability through training, mentoring and project experience, with the aim of becoming recognised as an industry specialist.
Support project managers in achieving efficient project delivery, including coordination of technical inputs, programme requirements and deliverables.
Work in accordance with corporate and regulatory requirements relating to health and safety, environmental management and quality standards.
Experience in directing BIM teams, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit or similar platforms, to produce high-quality
