Role Description The Content Writer will work on-site in Kolkata, contributing to News Tap One’s digital news and feature content. Responsibilities include researching topics, writing clear and engaging articles, and adapting content for web publication and social platforms. The role involves collaborating with editors and reporters to develop story angles, maintaining editorial standards,



and meeting daily and weekly deadlines. The Content Writer will also assist with content planning, headline writing, and basic proofreading to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Qualifications

Ability to produce high-quality Web Content Writing and general Writing aligned with editorial guidelines.
Experience in Content Strategy and Research to identify relevant topics and support investigative or feature pieces.
Strong Proofreading skills to ensure grammatical accuracy, clarity, and adherence to style.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Bangla is highly preferred.
Prior experience in journalism, digital media, or news writing is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work in office in Kolkata, manage deadlines, and collaborate with a diverse editorial team.
