Weaver is seeking talented and motivated Investment Funds Tax Associates to join
our growing US Tax practice. This position is ideal for individuals who are
detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to build a career in US tax compliance
and consulting within the financial services industry.

The successful candidate will be a team player who demonstrates initiative,
accepts responsibility, communicates effectively, and manages multiple
concurrent assignments of varying sizes and complexity. The role requires strong
analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the
flexibility to meet client and team deadlines during peak periods.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and review Federal and State tax returns for partnerships and
corporations.
* Prepare and analyse financial and tax data for Investment Fund clients.
* Utilize tax software and research tools to support compliance and consulting
engagements.
* Collaborate with team members and managers to deliver high-quality client
service.
* Perform tax research and communicate findings effectively.




* Assist with various special projects and client deliverables as needed.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Minimum of 1+ years of experience in US Tax.
* Experience preparing Federal tax returns, including:
* Form 1065 (Partnership Returns)
* Form 1120 (Corporate Returns)

* Experience preparing or supporting State tax returns.
* Proficiency in tax and workflow applications such as:
* CCH Axcess
* ProSystem fx Engagement
* GoFileRoom

* Robust Microsoft Office skills.
* Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities.
* Willingness to work from the office and collaborate closely with team members
and managers.
* Flexibility to work extended hours when business or client needs require.

Preferred Qualifications

* Master’s degree in US Taxation, CPA or
