Position Profile

Weaver is looking for talented Tax professionals at the Supervisor level
candidate to join our growing firm

The Candidate should be a team player who exhibits initiative, accepts
responsibility, communicates effectively, and manages multiple concurrent
assignments of varying sizes and complexity. As this role is provisions-focused,
the candidate should have a strong work ethic and be a self-starter, and
understand that the busy season for work often differs from a typical tax busy
season.

To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:

* Bachelor’s degree in accounting
* 6 or 6+ years of public accounting experience
* Proficient in CCH Axcess, Prosystem Fx Engagement, Gofile room
* Experience in Preparing/ Reviewing federal tax returns –Partnership and
Corporate returns.
* Team orientation and solid interpersonal skills
* Independent training and self-development, including researching and
self-involving based on available resources




* Fluent writing and verbal skills in English, including grammatical accuracy
* Willing to work in office with team members and managers
* Problem solving skills and able to work independently successfully
* Ability to grasp new concepts
* Able to work flexible hours when key client or team meetings are needed
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)

Additionally, the following qualifications are preferred:

* Master’s degree in Accounting, or related field is preferred
* EA, CPA, CPA candidate, CA or CA candidate.
* Knowledge/experience of Manufacturing/Professional
Service/Construction/Healthcare industry along with knowledge in Tax Journal
entries & knowledge Tax adjustments.
* Strong knowledge of excel and formula usage wherever applicable.
