Key Responsibilities
Identify and select vendors or suppliers for various products and services.
Conduct market research to find reliable suppliers and products.
Solicit quotations and negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers.
Prepare and issue purchase orders to suppliers based on departmental requirements.
Ensure that the purchase orders are accurate, transparent, and processed promptly with proper approval from superior/manager.
Monitor order progress and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.
Evaluate supplier performance regularly, ensuring timely deliveries and quality standards.
Resolve any supplier-related issues or concerns promptly.
Maintain accurate records of all purchase transactions, including supplier contracts, purchase orders, and invoices.
