We’re looking for an Applied AI Engineer who has hands-on experience building and shipping LLM-powered applications and AI agents into production. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving real-world AI problems, improving model behavior, and building reliable AI features used by real users.
Must have skills
4+ years of hands-on experience building and shipping LLM-powered features or AI agents in production
Robust experience with Prompt Engineering & Context Engineering
Hands-on experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
Experience designing LLM evaluation frameworks / eval harnesses
Experience with offline evaluation datasets, LLM-as-a-Judge and regression detection
Strong understanding of non-deterministic AI/LLM systems
Experience running A/B tests, production replays, experiments or staged rollouts
Experience with LLM observability, tracing and production monitoring
Strong software engineering/backend development skills, preferably with Python
Experience working with agentic workflows, tool use and AI system optimization
Nice to have
LangSmith, Braintrust or Datadog LLM Observability
LangChain / LangGraph or similar agent orchestration frameworks
MCP (Model Context Protocol)
Voice or real-time conversational AI
Experience using Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding tools
Preferred Background
Candidates with experience at Big Tech, leading product/technology companies, or AI-native startups are preferred. Candidates from Tier-1 institutes, including IITs, with strong hands-on production AI experience will be highly valued.
