Role Description The Purchase and Production Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing end-to-end procurement and manufacturing activities. Day-to-day tasks include sourcing and evaluating raw materials and packaging, managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of supplies. The role also involves planning production schedules, and maintain product standards. The manager will implement and refine processes for inventory control, cost optimization, and compliance with regulatory and safety requirements. This position requires close collaboration across departments to ensure that Dearist’s products are produced efficiently, sustainably, and in line with brand values.

Qualifications
Demonstrated skills in purchasing,



supplier management, and vendor negotiation, with experience in sourcing raw materials and packaging for skincare, haircare, or FMCG products.
Robust production planning and coordination abilities, including scheduling, capacity management, and workflow optimization in manufacturing environments.
Experience with inventory management and logistics, including stock monitoring, demand forecasting, and coordination with warehousing and distribution teams.
Knowledge of quality assurance and regulatory compliance, such as cosmetic or personal care standards, safety protocols, and documentation practices.
Prior experience in cosmetics, personal care, wellness, or related manufacturing industries is needed.
