Role Description The Senior Interior Designer will lead the design of interior spaces, from concept development to detailed execution, for projects at OAK GALLERIE’s on-site location in Kolkata. This part time role involves meeting clients, interpreting project briefs, developing design concepts, and preparing mood boards, layouts, and specifications aligned with the brand’s focus on high-quality, crafted pieces. The designer will coordinate space planning, guide FF&E; selection, review construction drawings,



and collaborate closely with architects, craftspeople, and vendors to ensure that designs are implemented accurately. Daily responsibilities include overseeing project timelines, maintaining design standards, conducting site visits, and ensuring that all interiors reflect the studio’s aesthetic, material quality, and functional goals.

Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of experience
Ability to plan and organize interior layouts, demonstrating strong skills in Space Planning and Interior Design.
Foundational understanding of Architecture and the ability to coordinate interior concepts with structural and building requirements.
Proficiency in creating, reviewing, and interpreting Construction Drawings, including detailed interior documentation.
Experience with FF&E; (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection, specification, and coordination with craftsmen and suppliers.
